"An artful combination of old and new"
A home with the comfort of modern design and functionality, with a classic traditional style. Our teams architectural skills were put to the test with the project, and what a stunning result! To be on the cover of this magazine is wonderful recognition, but the honor is really in our clients project satisfaction. Our clients had a keen interest in interior design, this passion was enhanced by our Interiors team who went above and beyond to create a masterpiece. The classic high-level finishes such as the paneling in the Entrance-way works aesthetically and welcomes you into the house. A soft colour and material pallet makes the spaces feel open and fresh, while also making the rustic antique furniture a feature.
The raking ceiling right up to the ridge of the gable is one of many highlights of this project. It makes the house symmetrical, gives extra height to the circulation and elegantly frames the top floor. It draws the occupants up the stair and out towards the full height windows which overlook the estuary. Our clients couldn’t be happier with their home and working with the team at W2.
